Staff with the Douglas County Public Works Department will close Old Highway 99N at the Oakland Bridge to all traffic on Friday April 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a routine bridge inspection.
The Oakland Bridge, also known as the Calapooya Creek Bridge, is on the Oakland/Shady Highway at the northwest end of Oakland. Northbound traffic will be detoured to Stearns Lane. Southbound traffic will be detoured to Green Valley Road.
The road closure may impact the drive time for motorists. They are asked to use caution as they travel, and utilize the detours in the area.
