4TH CASE OF COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY


March 26, 2020 1:45 p.m.
There is a 4th case of COVID-19 in Douglas County as of Thursday.
Information from the Douglas Public Health Network and the Douglas County Board of Commissioners said County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer made the announcement. Dannenhoffer said that DPHN had launched their epidemiology investigation related to the new case, identifying who the individual may have had contact with. Identifying information about the newest case is not being released at this time. Close contacts of the confirmed case will be notified by public health.
The release said there are zero deaths and 139 negative tests for COVID 19 in Douglas County. A tracking system has been set up for test results from county residents. The goal is to have the chart updated every day at 12:00 p.m. That is available at www.douglaspublichealthnetwork.org.
