On Friday, Greater Douglas United Way announced that a fund has been established to help the local community with urgent needs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Executive Director Bryan Trenkle said all funds raised will stay local and will go to provide support to community organizations in need as a result of the situation.
Donations can be made online at www.gduway.org or by mailing a check to United Way at 702 Southeast Jackson in Roseburg, 97470. Donations can also be taken to any branch of Banner Bank. Trenkle said United Way will not charge any administrative expense on the fund.
