STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARED BY WINSTON CITY COUNCIL

March 20, 2020 3:30 p.m. 
During a special meeting on Thursday, the Winston City Council declared a State of Emergency in that community as a result of COVID 19.
Information from staff said at this time, City offices and municipal court will continue to operate under normal business hours, weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. City parks continue to remain open to the public, however park restrooms are closed.
The declaration follows similar ones from the State of Oregon and from Douglas County. The State of Emergency is set to remain in place until April 30th.
