The Roseburg VA Health Care System has begun 100% screening of all veterans, visitors, vendors and employees.
Public Affairs Officer Tim Parish said Roseburg VA facilities are limiting patient companions to one per veteran, per visit. Companions must be age 16 or older. Parish said those restrictions apply to the Roseburg campus, both the VA clinic and the VA downtown clinic in Eugene, as well as VA clinics in North Bend and Brookings.
In Roseburg, the only entry for veterans, visitors and employees will be the south entrance off of West Harvard. The north entrance off of Garden Valley Boulevard will remain open for deliveries only.
Parish said the changes are being implemented out of an abundance of caution due to the spread of COVID-19.
