The Douglas Electric Cooperative annual membership meeting will not take place on its scheduled date of April 4th.
Member Services Director Todd Munsey said in order to protect from potential exposure, the utility is practicing an overabundance of caution. Munsey said the organization’s board of directors has yet to determine if the meeting will be cancelled or simply postponed. He said “the health and welfare of our members remains the priority”.
