A Glendale man was seriously injured when the vehicle he was driving left the road and hit a tree on Interstate Five southbound about a mile north of Glendale, on Monday afternoon.
A report from Oregon State Police said just before 4:15 p.m. a trooper was sent to the single vehicle wreck. The 29-year old Glendale man told the trooper that he sneezed and blacked out. The vehicle was reported to be speeding just prior to the crash. The report said evidence indicated that the vehicle’s brakes were not engaged prior to the accident.
The driver was flown by helicopter to Rogue Regency Hospital in Medford.
