SMALL SHOP DESTROYED BY FIRE

A small shop was destroyed by fire west of Roseburg on Wednesday night.
An update from Douglas County Fire District No. 2 said crews were called to the scene just after 7:30 p.m. following several reports of a building being on fire in the 300 block of Black Oak Drive.

Firefighters arrived to find the shop fully involved with fire and several trees nearby also on fire. The tree fires were quickly extinguished and the shop fire was eventually put out. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Eleven District No. 2 firefighters responded with assistance from fire departments in Roseburg and Lookingglass.
