MAN DIES IN FIRE NORTH OF OAKLAND

A house fire has claimed the life of a 61-year old man.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday morning at about 9:20 a.m. deputies were sent to a residence in the 800 block of South Cabin Creek Road, north of Oakland. O’Dell said the structure, a manufactured mobile home, had burned sometime during the night and was a complete loss. Human remains believed to be those of 61-year old Allan Lundeen were located inside the structure.
The fire is not considered suspicious at this time.
O’Dell said the Douglas County Medical Examiner’s Office and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are continuing the investigation.
Lundeen was the owner of Southern Septic Service.
