MYRTLE CREEK WOMAN HURT IN RIDDLE WRECK

A Myrtle Creek woman was hurt in wreck in Riddle on Monday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 4:20 a.m. the vehicle the 26-year old was driving, was traveling northwest on Riddle Bypass Road and went off the left- hand shoulder of the road.  It went several feet up the embankment and rolled, landing right-side-up on all four tires. The report said there was major damage to the vehicle and it had to be towed.
The driver had a major head injury, a large bump on the left side of her forehead, and had trouble remembering events. The report said the driver was not intoxicated and admitted to being distracted while she was driving. She was apparently attempting to put on makeup using the mirror, and drifted off the road.
No citations were issued according to the report.
