MAN WAS TASERED AFTER TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM POLICE

A Myrtle Creek man was tasered after trying to get away from police on Friday.
Information from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 2:00 p.m. a deputy determined that 53-year old David Naylor was at a residence in the 100 block of Bradley in Myrtle Creek.
The report said the deputy had a probable cause affidavit to arrest the suspect from a previous case. After being captured he was taken to the Douglas County Jail on second degree counts of burglary and theft, for interfering with police and for a parole violation.
Naylor is held without bail.
