MAN JAILED AFTER HARASSMENT, RESISTING ARREST

A Roseburg man was jailed after a harassment incident on Friday.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 6:15 a.m. 34-year old Tyson Johnson was involved in a disturbance involving a woman in the 1100 block of Southeast Pine. The report said the man had allegedly been using methamphetamine for a couple of days prior to the incident.
The report said after harassing the woman, the victim climbed out a window to get away from Johnson. Police arrived and ordered the man out of the house. Johnson allegedly ran out of the residence and tried to flee down an alley. Officers caught the suspect and tried to detain him and but he reportedly shoved and kicked police and tried to fight them. After a continued struggle, Johnson was detained and charged with two counts of harassment, second degree disorderly conduct and for resisting arrest.
After arraignment, he was held on $13,750 bail.
