A Days Creek man was jailed after a disturbance on Friday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 7:00 p.m. deputies and fire personnel responded to a residence in the 15,000 block of Tiller Trail Highway. The report said that 53-year old David Atwood was very intoxicated, causing a disturbance and had started a fire.
The fire turned out to be a large bon fire near a barn, which was extinguished by fire fighters. The report said Atwood was uncooperative and confrontational with responders.
