A Grants Pass man was cited for DUII/alcohol and for recklessly endangering another person following a wreck early Friday morning.
A report from the Roseburg Police said the 22-year old man and a 25-year old Roseburg woman had been drinking at a bar and had left to get food. At 3:00 a.m. the driver attempted to turn left onto Diamond Lake Boulevard from Northeast Stephens and crashed into a traffic light pole, knocking it over. The accident caused severe damage to his sedan. The man exhibited signs of alcohol impairment and was arrested.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene. The man was released from custody on Friday.
