The Celebration of Literacy has one more activity coming up, as its five-week series of activities, gets ready to conclude.
The Battle of the Books will take place Saturday March 7th at Brockway School in Winston. Students from elementary, middle, and high schools around Douglas County have spent months reading books in preparation for the event. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the competition getting started at 10:00 a.m.
Winners in each age group will advance to statewide competition.
