WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CLASS HAPPENING NEXT MONTH

Umpqua Wildlife Rescue will hold a basic wildlife rehabilitation class next month.
A release from UWR said the two-day class will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 7th and 8th, and will cover the basics of the safe handling and capture of wild animals, raising wild babies, first aid and basic medical care, proper housing, laws and regulations and more. The class is hands on and is for those age 18 and older. Space is limited and registration is required. It closes March 3rd or as soon as the class is full.
The class is free, though an optional book will be available for purchase.
It will be held at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife office on North Umpqua Highway, just east of Roseburg.
