Staff with the Douglas County Parks Department have temporarily closed Cavitt Creek County Park near Glide.
A department release said that in collaboration with their contractor, they will be conducting a hazard tree removal project that will not allow public use until May 15th.
Cavitt Creek County Park is a day-use-only park, located about seven miles south of Glide off of Little River Road, and one mile west of Cavitt Creek Road. The release said the park features a ball field and a picnic area adjacent to Cavitt Creek.
