Information about potential new boat access points on the South Umpqua River will be among topics shared at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Umpqua Fishermen’s Association.
A speaker from the Umpqua Fishing Access Workgroup, a diverse group of agencies, tribes and other stakeholders will share the information. The workgroup is dedicated to improve access at existing sites in the Umpqua Basin and develop new points, according to a release from UFA.
The event will be held at the Abby’s Annex on Northeast Stephens in Roseburg. A social time is held at 6:00 p.m. with the guest speaker getting started at 7:00 p.m.
