The registration deadline is almost here for Spring into Gardening, presented by the Oregon State University Extension Service.
The event will be held at Phoenix School on Saturday February 29th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During four sessions, a variety of experts will speak on topics like vegetable gardening, the value of chickens to a home garden, fruit tree care for home orchards, garden tools, and much more. Those attending get to choose between three presentations in each of the sessions. A one-hour break will be taken at 12:00 p.m. and participants are encouraged to bring a lunch with them.
The cost is $25 for the entire day of information. Thursday is the deadline to pre-register. Sign up by going to the OSU Extension Office in the Church Annex next to the Douglas County Courthouse or go to: https://extension.oregonstate.edu/douglas/events/spring-gardening.
