A Roseburg man was charged with second degree forgery and for unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Friday.
A report from Roseburg Police said 48-year old Hobi Mittendorf was contacted at a bank in the 700 block of Garden Valley after he allegedly tried to cash a stolen check with his name on it. The report said the check was originally made out to a business, but had been changed to have the suspect’s name on it. The man was also reportedly found to be in possession of a small amount of meth.
