MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES BEGINS THURSDAY AT LIBRARY

The Douglas Education Service District and the Roseburg Public Library are beginning a five-part series on mental health on Thursday night.
The sessions are designed to provide outreach resources and information, so the public can listen, learn and ask questions.
Thursday Barb Hofford, an RN with Douglas ESD will present “Ending the Silence”. It is a National Alliance on Mental Illness presentation on how to recognize signs of mental health concerns in loved ones and what can be done to help.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Deer Creek room of the library. The series will continue on the second Thursday of each month through June. Call the Roseburg Public Library for more information.
