A 38-year old man was jailed for allegedly attempting to elude police on Saturday.
A report from Oregon State Police said Adam Fisher was contacted during a traffic stop on Garden Valley in Roseburg. The report said the man ran off to the north across the road towards Casey’s Restaurant. He was later located by a deputy and had allegedly stolen a backpack from an employee of the restaurant.
He was also found to have a warrant out for his arrest and was detained on $56,250 bail. The arrest took place just before 2:00 p.m.
