The high level of customer service remains at Chuck’s Texaco, even though owner Chuck McCullum passed away lasted Thursday.
That’s the word family members communicated to the media on Friday. Their statement said that “Chuck’s legacy and service will continue on as it always has and like dad wanted”.

McCullum joined the local Elk’s Lodge in 1980 and became a lifetime member and a fixture of the organization where he served as a trustee.
In 2004, he married Dianne, known to most as “Jhana”, adding Craig Jones as a son.
Roseburg Mayor Larry Rich said McCullum was “a leader by example”. Rich said Chuck “was a great example and role model for the community providing quality customer service”. Rich said “he will be greatly missed in our community”.
A memorial service for Chuck McCullum will be held this spring. Information will be announced at a later date.
