The Umpqua Valley Homebuilders Association will present the annual Home and Garden Show starting February 28th.
The event will be held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Those attending can see displays and talk to over 150 vendors involved in the industry. Presentations will be given in Douglas Hall and in the Floral Building each day as well.
*Friday February 28th is Contractor’s Day. Local brews and live entertainment from Hecktic Week will be offered from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Douglas Hall.
*Saturday February 29th is Family Day. Planting and soil art activities sponsored by the Elkton Community Education Center will be offered. Tory Rose will perform from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Bloodworks Northwest will be doing a blood drive on Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is $4 for adults, or $3 with two cans of food for the Food Bank Program of the United Community Action Network. Kids age 12 and under get in free on Saturday. Veterans and seniors over age 65 receive free admission on Sunday.
