A North Bend woman was hurt in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in Sutherlin.
Captain Kurt Sorenson of Sutherlin Police said at about 10:30 a.m. the wreck occurred on Highway 138 at Dovetail Lane. Sorenson said the woman’s vehicle rear ended a second sedan as it was preparing to make a left-hand turn from the highway. The car hit was operated by a 47-year old man from Umpqua.
The 33-year old woman was taken to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. She was treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson.
Her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
