Southern Oregon Goodwill Industries will offer basic computer skill classes in February.
A release from the organization said the classes will be at the Goodwill Learning Lab on Stewart Parkway in Roseburg. Classes will include Google tools, Microsoft Word 101, Internet Basics, and Intro to Computers.
The release said the classes are for anyone who needs skills to prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce, or want to stay up with the ever-changing digital landscape. The goal of the program is to offer digital skills training opportunities for local job seekers to have a wider toolset for a job market with increasing demands for a workforce with computer proficiency.
