Officials with Oregon State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three men who could be connected to the possible unlawful taking of an elk.
An OSP release said they have received information that the animal was taken, possibly unlawfully, in the Burnt Mountain area near the Douglas/Coos County Line in September of last year. Fish and Wildlife troopers would like to talk to any of the three individuals pictured in the online story at www.541radio.com.
Anyone who can identify one or more of the men should call Trooper Baimbridge by calling the OSP Southern Command Center at 1-800-442-2068.
Information leading to the arrest or issuance of a citation for the unlawful take, possession or waste of big game animals makes citizens eligible for a reward from the Turn in Poachers program.
