A Myrtle Creek man was jailed on drug and theft charges on Wednesday afternoon.
Information from Myrtle Creek Police said at about 4:30 p.m. the 51-year old suspect was allegedly observed taking items from Ray’s Market. Officers contacted the suspect at his residence and reportedly said he was still carrying one of the items. The report said the man admitted to taking the items from the store.
During a search of his person, the man was allegedly found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with unlawful possession of meth and for third degree theft. He was released from custody on Thursday morning.
