MAN JAILED FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A Sutherlin man was jailed for disorderly conduct on Wednesday night.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 10:00 p.m. officers observed the end of a disturbance in which a 50-year old man was harassing a store clerk at the Downtown Market & Deli. The report said the suspect alarmed several witnesses by swinging a large object at the windows and trying to get into someone else’s locked car.
The man was initially held on $2,500 bail.
