The series of events is presented by Altrusa International and the Umpqua Literacy Council.
Events include a series of Reading Around the World activities at libraries in Douglas County, a Wildlife Safari book drive, a movie night, the annual Literacy Play at Roseburg High School, a reading fair at the Douglas County Fairgrounds and the Battle of the Books at Brockway Elementary School in Winston. Other activities are taking place as well.
