OVERNIGHT REPORT OF SMOKE TURNS OUT TO BE BURNED FOOD

An overnight report of smoke coming out a room at the Grand Hotel in downtown Roseburg on Thursday, turned out to be burned food.
Information from the Roseburg Fire Department said a call reporting the smoke coming out the door of a 4th floor apartment, came in at 3:50 a.m. Due to the size of the structure and the number of residents, three engines and a command unit were initially dispatched. Two engines were released after the determination was made regarding the burned food. An alarm had to be turned off in the building as well.
