A Trail man went to jail after an incident in Days Creek on Wednesday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said that just before 9:00 a.m. staff at Milo Academy reported that a confused, possibly under the influence man had wandered onto their campus and was refusing to leave. A deputy and the Milo Fire Chief were called and asked to deal with the situation.
Before the deputy had arrived, someone transported the 43-year old man to the Milo Fire Department. From there the man wandered to the Carl C. Hill Wayside. The deputy contacted the man and was able to get enough information for a warrant check.
The report said the man had three confirmed warrants out of Jackson County. He was taken to the Douglas County Jail, due to those warrants.
