A Roseburg man was jailed following a menacing complaint.
Information from Roseburg Police said on January 12th, a female victim reported that a 52-year old man held her down on the bed, and placed his arm over her neck, causing her to almost black out. He then allegedly threatened to shoot her if she called the police. The victim had injuries consistent with her statements, according to the report.
He was held on a felony strangulation charge, for tampering with a witness, menacing and harassment. He was released from custody on Thursday.
