MAN JAILED AFTER HARASSMENT INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed following a harassment incident early Friday.
A report from the Roseburg Police, said at 12:30 a.m. the 34-year old was arguing with an 18-year old man at a residence in the 100 block of Cobb. The report said the suspect allegedly hit the victim, who then left the house. The suspect then reportedly chased the other man and allegedly hit him some more and then punched a neighbor’s truck.
The report said when police contacted the suspect, he was extremely intoxicated and belligerent as he stood in the middle of the street. The man was said to be yelling and ignoring officer’s commands in the presence of his neighbors, and was also yelling at those neighbors as well.
He was charged with harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct.
