A Roseburg man was jailed after demanding free soda on Thursday.
Information from the Roseburg Police said at about 4:50 p.m. the 36-year old man was contacted by officers at Carl’s Jr. The report said he had earlier been offered free water but refused and wanted the soda for free instead. He was asked to leave and was trespassed by officers. He allegedly came back approximately an hour later and threw trash while yelling obscenities at passing cars from the drive through.
He was charged with second degree counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. The man was initially detained on $3,750 bail.
The man had been cited in a previous criminal mischief case and released only a few hours before the latest set of incidents.
