K9 Grim found a man hiding under a vehicle early Friday morning.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy responded to property in the 400 block of Industrial Drive near Roseburg at about 1:00 a.m. after the owner received several photographs from the surveillance camera of someone inside the property stealing gasoline.
The report said the property is a storage place for vehicle parts and junk. K9 Grim was deployed and tracked into the property through a hole in the fence. A search was conducted and the K9 located the suspect.
The report said the man, 45-year old Wayne Bickers of Myrtle Creek, was also identified as a burglary suspect from another case and was arrested for those charges as well.
Bickers was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft in this case. He was held on over $250,000 bail.
