A vehicle apparently hit the guardrail and median on Interstate Five, but kept going on Tuesday afternoon.
A report from the Oregon State Police said at about 5:10 p.m. a trooper was dispatched following a report that a PT Cruiser had spun out before the accident on Interstate Five northbound in the Oakland area. The report said the vehicle had left the scene before the trooper arrived. Staff with Douglas County Fire District No. 2 said they saw evidence of a crash and light damage to the guardrail.
The report said the trooper could not find the crash scene due to weather and traffic at that time.
