SOUTHERN OREGON ROAD UPDATE FOR THURSDAY MORNING

Information from the Oregon Department of Transportation said motorists should expect delays Thursday morning due to snow and chain restrictions on southern Oregon mountain passes.
Drivers should budget extra time and expect congestion near chain-up areas on the Interstate Five corridor mountain passes.
*Interstate Five in the Siskiyou’s: Chains required on all vehicles except 4x4s unless towing.
*Interstate Five at the Sexton, Smith and Stage Passes: Chains are required on trucks over 10,000 gross vehicle weight, and other vehicles if towing.
*Interstate Five at Canyon Mountain: Carry chains due to snow.
*U.S. 199 at Hayes Hill: Carry chains due to snow.
*Oregon 42 at Camas Mountain: Carry chains due to snow.
*Oregon 140 at the Cascade Mountain Summit: Chains are required on vehicles towing or over 10,000 GVW.
