The Douglas County Senior Services dining site in Glendale closed on Thursday and may have to close on Friday as well.
Information from the Board of Commissioners office said that heavy snowfall, downed trees, power outages and storm related dangerous travel conditions led to the closure. All other senior dining sites in Glide, Reedsport, Riddle, Sutherlin, Winston and Yoncalla remained open.
Seniors who are unable to reach the dining site, should contact the Senior Services office for assistance to additional resources. Those who can volunteer at a dining site should call 440-3677.
An update on the status of the Glendale site will be provided on Friday.
