Roseburg Public Library will host the College in the Community lecture series Thursday night.
The event is co-sponsored by Umpqua Community College, the Douglas Education Service District and the library.
Dr. Mark Breckenridge, Ph.D. in Musicology, will present “Jazz as Propaganda: An Exploration of the Power of Music as a Weapon in the Cold War”. The program is free and open to the public.
