K9 ALERT LEADS TO SEIZURE OF METH

A K9 alert led to the seizure of methamphetamine on Tuesday.
A report from the Roseburg Police said at 10:50 a.m. two people were contacted during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Garden Valley Boulevard.
K9 Trapper alerted on the vehicle, and during a subsequent search, over 10 grams of the drug were reportedly found. 45-year old Rudy Baptiste was charged with unlawful possession and delivery of meth. He was initially detained on $150,000 bail.
The 34-year old woman with him was held for a parole violation.
