SUTHERLIN MAN JAILED ON THEFT, RELATED CHARGES

A Sutherlin man was jailed on theft and related charges on Monday night.
Information from the Roseburg Police said that 21-year old Devin Goodman was identified as a suspect after he was seen on video entering a vehicle and allegedly stealing property on January 11th. The report said he also caused significant damage to the steering column in an apparent attempt to steal the car. He was contacted during a traffic stop on Southeast Douglas and arrested.
Goodman was held on 11 counts including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second degree counts of theft and criminal mischief, for providing false information to police and for a probation violation. He was detained without bail.
