The Umpqua Valley Arts Association will have the opening reception for its Faces of the Umpqua Valley Project this Friday night.
Faces of the Umpqua Valley is a photographic exhibition and a book that looks at the community. A release from the UVAA said the intention is to show the community at a moment in time, depicting the pride and skills that make this a community that is a pleasure to live in.
Other new exhibits will also open at the same time. The reception runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the UVAA on West Harvard in Roseburg. Go to www.uvarts.com for more information on the Umpqua Valley Arts Center.
