The 50th Greatest of the Grape event is coming up this spring.
Presented by the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association, the evening will celebrate the local wine industry. Organizers said it was the first event of its kind, where local fine wine is available for tasting, and is paired with food from local restaurants and caterers. It is considered one of the premier wine tasting events in Oregon.

VIP tickets allow people to be admitted at 6:00 p.m. with general admission at 7:00 p.m. VIP tickets are $115 per person through January 31st with general admission tickets selling for $90. Prices for all tickets increase by $10 after that date.
The theme for the evening will be Puttin on the Ritz. Live music will be featured along with the wine and food. Awards will be given out for the best wine, food and wine and food pairing.
