The woman’s car ended up in the landscaping area at Dutch Bros, and stopped almost against the building. The driver was unconscious and was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. After being diagnosed with a minor brain bleed, she was transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield for monitoring. She is listed in good condition at last check according to a hospital spokesperson.
A passenger in the first vehicle and the driver in the second vehicle were both reportedly not injured. Both vehicles involved were totaled and were removed by a towing company.
