MAN JAILED IN HARASSMENT CASE

A Roseburg man was jailed in a harassment case on Monday.
Information from the Roseburg Police Department said at about 4:45 p.m. a 49-year old suspect was allegedly intoxicated and pushed a woman for unknown reasons at a home in the 100 block of Miller. When officers arrived the man reportedly tried to lock himself in the garage, but it was pushed open before he could fully close it.
Matthew Putnam was charged with harassment, resisting arrest and for interfering with a peace officer. He was detained on $15,000 bail. He was released from custody on Tuesday.
