A Roseburg man was cited following a theft incident on Tuesday.
Information from the Roseburg Police said just before 3:00 p.m. the 64-year old man allegedly stole a purse from a woman at Dairy Queen. The report said he then drove to Stewart Park and allegedly threw the purse into the trash. Officers were not able to retrieve the purse or its contents.
The suspect was cited for third degree theft and for tampering with evidence. He was released after being cited.
