No one was hurt when a pickup crashed on Interstate Five on Saturday afternoon.
A report from the Oregon State Police said at about 2:45 p.m. the vehicle, which was towing a loaded trailer, fishtailed while it was northbound between Winchester and Sutherlin and spun out of control. The operator told a trooper that he thought the rear of the pickup was too light, leading to the accident.
The report said the pickup left the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail before coming to rest in the right travel lane. The driver was a 78-year old man from Yoncalla.
