A Roseburg man was jailed early New Year’s morning following incidents in the downtown area.
Information from the Roseburg Police said an investigation revealed that 35-year old Joseph Campos allegedly confronted a witness who had objected to the suspect rattling the door of a closed business. The report said Campos then entered the adjacent Elks Lodge property going past multiple signs that warned against trespassing, all while being intoxicated which is in violation of his probation.
Campos was charged with second degree counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct and for a probation violation. He was held without bail and detained at about 12:30 a.m.
