A Roseburg man was charged with third degree assault following a disturbance on Tuesday night.
A report from Roseburg Police said just after 6:00 p.m. the 30-year old male suspect and a female victim were involved in a physical disturbance in front of an infant. The report said during the altercation the man allegedly threw a potted plant at the victim’s head, causing serious injury to her eye. The victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center where she was treated and released.
